HOW'S THAT HOPE AND CHANGE WORKING OUT FOR YA ??????
The thing to remember about ants is they just like everything else have a way in. 98% of the time they live in the insulation under your floor, sometimes moisture will build up between your sub-flooring and your insulation and this makes an ideal home for ants.
I used to be an exterminator and I'm still licensed, if you want my advice, poke small holes in the wall underneath your kitchen and bathroom sinks and spray them full of pesticide. Then if possible crawl under your house and poke holes in your insulation near where your water lines go through the floor and give it a good dose of pesticide.
If this doesn't work I would call an exterminator. They will do the same thing I just mentioned but will use a commercial grade chemical. If you do have to go this route don't let them talk you into monthly pest service, it is a waste of your time and money. It will sound like a good deal in the beginning but will cost you much more in the long run. A good annual or semi-annual perimeter and interior service is all anyone needs.
